1. Who We Are

Certedge Training Ltd (“Certedge”, “we”, “us”, “our”) provides accredited and bespoke training and consultancy services, including First Aid, Fire Safety, Mental Health, Health & Safety, and Leadership Development.

2. What These Terms Cover
These Terms apply to all training services, courses, workshops, and consultancy delivered by Certedge Training Ltd, whether booked through our website or directly with us.

By booking a service, you agree to these Terms.

3. Making a Booking

Bookings are made through our online booking system or directly through our team.
A booking is confirmed only once you receive a confirmation email.
For corporate/group bookings, the person booking must have authority to act on behalf of their organisation.


4. Prices, Payment & Currency

All prices are listed in GBP (£).
VAT will be applied where applicable.
Payment is taken securely at checkout.
Payments are processed via Stripe. Certedge does not store or process your card data.


5. Payment Security

We use secure third‑party payment processors. Your bank may require additional authentication steps such as a one-time passcode or biometric approval.

6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & Refunds

6.1 Public Courses (Individual Bookings)

Cancel 48+ hours before the course start: Full refund or free reschedule.
Cancel within 48 hours: Non‑refundable.
No‑show: Non‑refundable.

6.2 Corporate / On‑Site Training

Cancel 7+ days before: Full refund or free reschedule.
Cancel within 7 days: 50% fee payable.
Cancel within 48 hours: 100% fee payable.

6.3 Consumer Cooling‑Off Rights (Online Bookings)
If you book as a consumer (not a business) online, you may cancel within 14 days of booking unless:

You request training to begin within the 14‑day period, or
The training has already been delivered.

If you ask us to start within 14 days, you may be charged for any proportion of the service already delivered.

6.4 Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Processing times may vary depending on your bank (typically 7–10 business days).

6.5 Changes Made by Certedge
We may occasionally reschedule or cancel sessions due to trainer illness, low enrolment, safety issues, or unforeseen circumstances.
You will be offered:

A free transfer to a new date, or
A full refund.


7. Substitutions

Delegate substitutions are permitted at no extra cost, provided the new delegate meets course requirements.

8. Attendance, Lateness & Certification

Please arrive on time. Late arrival may prevent participation and may be treated as a no‑show.
Certificates are issued upon successful completion of the course and may include expiry dates set by awarding bodies.


9. Health, Safety & Accessibility

Some courses involve physical activity. Please inform the trainer of any medical or mobility issues in advance.
We aim to accommodate reasonable adjustments where possible.


10. Intellectual Property

All course materials, resources, assessments, and documents belong to Certedge Training Ltd and/or awarding bodies.
They must not be reproduced, modified, or distributed without permission.

11. Appropriate Behaviour

We reserve the right to remove any participant who behaves in a disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or discriminatory manner. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances.

12. Online Training Requirements

For virtual courses, you are responsible for:

A stable internet connection
Suitable audio/video equipment
Accessing the session link securely

Sharing access links is not permitted.

13. Privacy & Data Protection

We process personal data in line with our Privacy Policy.
This includes data needed for booking, certification, compliance, and communication.

14. Liability

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter that cannot be limited by law.
Otherwise:

Our total liability is limited to the amount paid for the service.
We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses such as travel, accommodation, or business interruption.


15. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failure to deliver services caused by events outside our control, including severe weather, strikes, power outages, or public health emergencies.
If affected, we will offer rescheduling or refunds as appropriate.

17. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version published at the time of your booking will apply to your contract with us.

18. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland.
Any disputes will be handled by Scottish courts unless local consumer laws require otherwise.
